Theme & presentation
I’ve reviewed enough gold-themed slots to fill an actual vault, so I sat down to Bullion Blitz by Blueprint Gaming (2025) already a little cynical. And yes, it is exactly what the name promises: bars, coins, glinting diamonds and a big brassy strongroom that opens with a satisfying clunk. It’s not reinventing anything visually, but it’s clean and unfussy, the coins have a nice heft to them, and the whole thing wears its “money-collect” heart on its sleeve. No pretending to be a story here. It wants to show you shiny things and count them. Fine by me.
How it plays
This is a 6x4 grid, and here’s the important bit: there are no conventional paylines. Bullion Blitz is a collector slot. Value comes from cash symbols landing on the reels and being scooped up by collect symbols sitting on reels 1 and 6. Land a collector with cash in view, and it hoovers everything up. It’s the Cash Collect / Money Collect lineage Blueprint knows well, and if you’ve played that family you’ll feel at home within two spins. When nothing collects, the base game can feel a touch flat, but that’s the genre tax you pay for the payoff moments.
The feature
The good stuff is the Vault Spins bonus (Blueprint’s Bullion/Vault Spins), triggered by three or more bonus symbols, with four, five or six also throwing 10x, 50x or 250x upfront. Inside, the collectors on reels 1 and 6 stay live and feed a meter: hit three, six, nine and twelve collect symbols and you bank five extra spins each time, plus escalating 2x, 3x, 5x and 10x multipliers on your cash prizes. There are also Vault Upgrade diamonds that add instant boosts. It’s a proper meter-chase, and when the multipliers climb it’s genuinely tense. That’s where the advertised 10,000x max win lives.
The numbers
- Max win: 10,000x stake (confirmed on Blueprint’s own game page)
- RTP: three tiers, 92% / 93% / 95% depending on operator (Blueprint publishes all three; you’ll usually meet 95% or lower)
- Volatility: high (some outlets list it medium-high)
- Reels/ways: 6 reels, 4 rows, no fixed paylines, cash-collect mechanic
- Hit rhythm: Blueprint doesn’t publish an official hit frequency; in my demo sessions the base game ran dry between collects, with the real rhythm living in the bonus. Treat that as impression, not a stat.
Verdict
Bullion Blitz is a competent, well-made collector slot that does nothing wrong and little that’s new. The Vault Spins meter is the reason to play, and the 10,000x ceiling gives it a genuine top end. What gives me pause is the RTP: 95% is only average, and if your casino serves the 92% or 93% build, that’s a meaningfully worse deal for identical gameplay, so check the config before you commit real money. High volatility plus a base game that idles between collects means patience is mandatory. I liked it more than I expected to, but “liked” not “loved.”
SlotWhizz rating: 3.1/5. Remember that even the best-case 95% version keeps roughly 5% of every wager over time, and the 92% tier keeps closer to 8% — the house edge is baked in and never sleeps.
