Bankin’ Bacon Jackpot King is Blueprint Gaming plugging their piggy-bank slot into the Jackpot King progressive network, and I went in expecting the usual shiny-but-thin Blueprint experience. Mostly, that’s what I got.

It’s a pig in a marble bank vault. That’s the pitch, and Blueprint commits to it with the studio’s trademark glossy sheen: pink-tinged stonework, gold coins, cheques fluttering about, and a smug little pig mascot who clearly launders money for a living. The 6-reel, 4-row grid sits in a tidy banking hall, and everything gleams in that faintly plasticky Blueprint way. It’s competent and characterful without ever being memorable. The audio is jaunty and forgettable. You’ve seen this art department’s fingerprints on a dozen other releases, and if you liked those, you’ll be fine here.

How it plays

Under the hood it’s a 4,096-ways engine across those six reels, so wins come from matching symbols left-to-right on adjacent reels rather than fixed paylines. Base-game rhythm is what you’d expect from a medium-high volatility grinder: long-ish quiet patches punctuated by the odd decent ways-win when a high symbol stacks up. Nothing revolutionary in the spin-to-spin, and the base game is frankly a waiting room for the features.

The feature

The signature bonus is Banker Spins, triggered by landing 3, 4, 5 or 6 gold-coin scatters for 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 spins. But you’re paying for that dream with a below-par RTP, and the 50,000x base figure isn’t the ceiling you’re actually playing for in this edition. It’s fine. It’s not special.
