Theme & presentation
Let’s not pretend this one is reinventing anything. 1GO Rush 1000 is a candy-coloured 7x7 grid drenched in the same gummy pastels and bouncy soundtrack Pragmatic Play has been ladling out since Sugar Rush landed. If you’ve played a “Rush 1000” reskin before, you already know the drill: fruit-jelly hearts, stars and lozenges dropping onto a jelly-baby background, with a bit of arcade sparkle when clusters pop. It’s competent, it’s colourful, and it’s utterly, almost aggressively familiar. I smiled for about ninety seconds, then the sugar high wore off.
How it plays
Cluster pays, no lines. Land five or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically anywhere on the 7x7 and they pay, then explode in a tumble that drops fresh symbols in to (hopefully) keep the chain going. The hook — and it’s a genuinely good one — is the spot multipliers. Every position that produces a win gets marked; win on that same spot again and a x2 multiplier lights up there, doubling with each further hit all the way to x1,024. Stack a few of those under a fat cluster and the maths gets silly in a hurry.
In the base game those spot multipliers reset each spin, which keeps the flow honest but a little stingy. This is a high-volatility grid, so expect long, dry stretches punctuated by the occasional cascade that actually connects. When it’s cold, it’s ice-cold.
The feature
The bonus here is a straight Free Spins round — no cutesy branded name, Pragmatic just calls it Free Spins. Three or more scatters trigger it, awarding a minimum of ten spins. The one meaningful twist: during Free Spins the spot multipliers do NOT reset between cascades. They persist and compound across the whole round, so the grid slowly seeds itself with x-spots that can snowball into that headline win. That’s the entire game, really — everything outside the bonus is just you buying a ticket to it. There’s a Bonus Buy if you’d rather skip the queue, which tells you where the value is thought to live.
The numbers, straight
- Max win: most aggregators and the game’s own spec list 25,000x — but there is a genuine source conflict, with at least one demo aggregator quoting 10,000x. Neither figure is a fluke of one site, so treat the ceiling as unconfirmed and check the in-game paytable before you believe any number.
- RTP: 96.53% at the top setting, and this matters — this ships as a multi-config release and operators can deploy lower tables (94.05% is documented). Always check the specific table you’re on. For context, a game like Barber Shop Uncut runs a genuinely high ~97% RTP (though it’s a lower-volatility, lower-ceiling animal); 1GO Rush 1000 sits a notch below at its best config and well below on the stingier ones.
- Volatility: High. Bankroll accordingly.
- Reels/ways: 7x7 grid, cluster pays (5+ adjacent), tumbling wins.
- Hit rhythm: Streaky and top-heavy. Frequent small pops, long droughts, and the real money gated behind Free Spins.
Verdict
1GO Rush 1000 is a perfectly serviceable cluster slot that does nothing its better-known parent game didn’t already do first. The persistent-multiplier Free Spins are legitimately fun when they land, but the base game is a grind and the “1000” branding oversells a maths model you’ve met before. Fine for a spin; nothing I’d go out of my way for. And mind the RTP — on a lower config this crosses from mediocre into avoid.
SlotWhizz rating: 3.0/5. A solid-but-derivative grid with one clever feature; just remember the house keeps a built-in edge on every spin regardless of how the tumbles fall.
18+. Demo for fun, not profit. Nothing you land in demo mode is real, and nothing removes the built-in house advantage once you play for cash. Play responsibly.
